Following this mornings course inspection we are delighted to announce that the Golf Course will now reopen.
With this in mind the round of 16 matches in the matchplay competitions and the consolation stableford will go ahead as planned with the first tee times at 08:00.
2021 5 Day Open: Matchplay Round of 16 Draws
Having had to abandon the round of 32 matches this morning due to the golf course remaining unplayable each of the matchplay competitions has now been cut to only 16 qualifiers. The results for the first qualifying round were used to complete this draw with the below cut marks:
Gross Cut: 73
Nett Cut: 71 (BIH)

Following this mornings weather and the forecast overnight a course inspection will be completed at 06:30 to confirm that the course is suitable for play. Consolation Stableford and Consolation Texas Scramble tee times can be booked through the golf shop.
2021 5 Day Open: Course Closed
Following the third course inspection this morning and taking in to account the forecast for the remainder of the day the decision has been made that the golf course will remain closed for the day.
With this in mind we are now cutting the number of qualifiers for each of the matchplay competitions to 16 players. We are now carrying out the process of redrawing all these competitions and will publish the new draws as soon as possible.
As per the earlier communication booking for the Consolation Stableford tomorrow and the consolation Texas Scramble on Friday can now be booked through the golf shop.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience as we complete the re draws for the matchplay competitions.
2021 5 Day Open: Course Closed
Following the second course inspection this morning at 08:30 the golf course will remain closed for the time being.
The conditions we were faced with at 06:30 this morning have been worsened by continuous heavy rainfall throughout the morning.
With this in mind we are now currently delaying all tee times for a period of 5 hours with a further course inspection to be carried out at 11:30 with the view to hopefully starting golf at 12:30.
Unfortunately due to daylight hours and tee time availability this means that the consolation qualifying competition which was scheduled for this afternoon has now been cancelled and booking for the Consolation Stableford tomorrow and the consolation Texas Scramble on Friday can now be booked through the golf shop.
