This is the draw for the Xmas Texas Scramble on Saturday 22 December 2018. Shotgun start at 10am.

Quiz night with Mike Young & Garry Macdonald – Saturday 15 December from 7.30pm ish.

£10 per team of 4. All entry fees paid out in prizes to the winning teams. People without teams are welcome to come along and we will find/make a team.

Congratulations to Carol O’Keefe who has just won £400 in the Cluny Club December Draw.

Carol says her win will go towards a weekend break, I think she means to take Con with her.

Forres Golf Club has a new Club Captain.  At the club AGM on Thursday 22 November 2018 Colin Fleetham handed the reins over to Murray Drummond.  Murray was one of many talented golfers to come through the junior ranks at Forres in the 1970s and 1980s.  He won the Club Championship in 1981 and has a long association with the club.  He served as Vice Captain from 2016 – 2018 and has now stepped into the role as Club Captain for the next 2 years.  Everyone associated with the club would like to welcome Murray into his new role and wish him all the best for his term as Club Captain.

Names/bookings are now being taken for the traditional Hogmanay celebrations at Forres Golf Club.

The Club has secured Craig Robertson, a top entertainer for the hogmanay party. This will be a steak night, music and dance festival. Tickets from the bar are £20 for the steak & dance or £10 if you are coming for the evening only. Meals served from 6:30pm – Dancing from 9pm until ?.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE

Tuesday 4th December 2018: 1p.m. – 4p.m.

The Winter League began on Saturday 27 October 2018 and runs until March 2019. The final leader board will be determined by the aggregate of each player’s best 5 stableford scores.  This is a mixed event open to both ladies and gents.
