This full time position is responsible for assisting the head greenkeeper in all aspects of the greenkeeping division of the golf course. Our comprehensive programme allows you to combine on-the-job learning and work based assessments with college assignments leading to a SVQ Level 2 Sports Turf Maintenance, and preparing you for a rewarding career in Greenkeeping. Whether or not you have experience in Greenkeeping, the objective of our programme is to create a foundation on which you can build your career.
The successful candidate must enjoy working outside and must be highly responsible & reliable. A Successful candidate must have the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment and have the ability to work cohesively as part of a team. Previous experience within a greenkeeping environment would be beneficial but not essential.
The hours of work would be 39 hours a week plus overtime which will include weekend working and early starts.
