COST
Junior golf is very accessible. From just £20, membership gives you a year of unlimited play, access to junior activities and use of all facilities including the clubhouse.
TIME
Modern golf for juniors is all about time. Juniors participate in 3, 6 and 9 hole formats meaning they commit to 1 or 2 hours. Practice sessions are also limited to an hour.
DIFFICULTY
Junior golfers learn to play short format golf. Pitch and putt, shorter holes and a fast paced, fun environment ensure juniors learn at a pace that best suits them.
Junior Success
The juniors recorded a great success in 2024 by winning the Moray West league. Competing against Hopeman, Elgin and Moray the team and supporters enjoyed a fun occasion with the added bonus of a victory.

Junior Coaching
Our coaches offer sessions throughout the season for our junior golfers. Open to both members and non-members these group sessions are a great way to develop skills and learn new techniques.
Junior Camps
Our junior camps run over 4 consecutive days giving our young players a concentrated period of learning and practicing new skills that they can take on to the course and continue to develop in their own time.
Camps take place in the Easter and October holidays and we offer 2 camps during the Summer break. Junior camps are open to members and non-members.
Friday Night Junior Golf
Friday night sessions are centred around putting and short format golf. With fun competitions and the chance to try out new skills playing just a few holes on the course.

NEW WAYS TO PLAY
Flag Golf for under 12s
Flag golf is a straightforward way to measure your own ability from one month to the next as well as your progress against others.
Instead of playing 3 or 6 holes and counting your score, in flag golf you play a certain amount of shots to see how far you get. Once you play all of your shots, you mark with a flag and record your total distance. A great target to beat on your next visit.
SHORT FORMAT GOLF
Club, Region and National Levels
Junior golf allows players to join in when and where they want. Play for fun at a local level or enter competitions and learn to compete gradually at a regional and national level.
Stepping Up
Junior golf is targeted to both age and ability. This avoids young players from getting disheartened finding it tough to play longer and more difficult formats. Players step up to sixes and nines when they are more able to cope.
