Ross MacLeod Celebrates 30 Years of Service ⛳🌱🌿
We are proud to celebrate an incredible milestone for our Head Greenkeeper, Ross MacLeod, who marks 30 years of dedicated service to Forres Golf Club.
Over the past three decades, Ross has played a vital role in shaping and maintaining the outstanding condition and reputation of our course. His commitment, expertise, and passion for greenkeeping have been evident in everything he does, and his contribution to the club is truly invaluable. Ross’s knowledge, consistency, and pride in his work have helped create the high standards that members and visitors enjoy today.
Throughout his time at the club, Ross has been a constant and respected presence, supporting the course through many changes while always maintaining the highest standards. His dedication extends beyond the day-to-day, reflecting a genuine passion for both the club and the wider greenkeeping profession.

What a great event we had on Friday, with 47 juniors taking part and making it a fantastic day of golf!
A big thank you to everyone who played and supported the competition, and a huge congratulations to all of our prize winners across the various sections 👏

Today we officially opened the 2026 golf season at Forres Golf Club with the traditional Captain vs Vice Captain match ⛳️
A great turnout set the tone for the season ahead, with Captain Kenny Paterson getting proceedings underway on the first tee, alongside Vice Captain Eddie Milne.
Plenty of competitive spirit, good golf, and even better company made it a fantastic start to the year.
Join us afterwards in the clubhouse to watch Scotland v Japan, kicking off at 5pm – a great way to round off opening day! 🍻⚽️
