NOW HIRING – Seasonal Labourer
This seasonal full time position is responsible for assisting the green keeping team with the daily tasks involved in maintaining the golf course and generally promoting a positive overall image of the facility.
Main duties will include:
• Presenting the golf course to the highest of standards on a daily basis
• Bunker preparation and maintenance
• Cutting and general maintenance of specific areas around the course
The successful candidate should have the following qualities:
• Shows an understanding of health and safety
• Enjoys working outdoors
• Have a keen attention to detail
• Be able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
• An interest and understanding of golf and/or previous machinery experience would be advantageous but not required.
The hours of work will be 39 hours a week (Mon to Fri) with the possibility of overtime during some but not all weekends. Please note that part time hours may be considered.
The term of employment will end during September 2026.

Ross MacLeod Celebrates 30 Years of Service ⛳🌱🌿
We are proud to celebrate an incredible milestone for our Head Greenkeeper, Ross MacLeod, who marks 30 years of dedicated service to Forres Golf Club.
Over the past three decades, Ross has played a vital role in shaping and maintaining the outstanding condition and reputation of our course. His commitment, expertise, and passion for greenkeeping have been evident in everything he does, and his contribution to the club is truly invaluable. Ross’s knowledge, consistency, and pride in his work have helped create the high standards that members and visitors enjoy today.
Throughout his time at the club, Ross has been a constant and respected presence, supporting the course through many changes while always maintaining the highest standards. His dedication extends beyond the day-to-day, reflecting a genuine passion for both the club and the wider greenkeeping profession.
