⛳️ Golf Sixes at Forres Golf Club ⛳️

It was fantastic to host the 2nd Golf Sixes event at Forres Golf Club. A huge thank you to all the clubs, players, parents and supporters who travelled to take part. We hope all the juniors enjoyed themselves and had another great day of golf.

Congratulations to the Forres Golf Sixes Squad on winning the home fixture with some excellent golf played throughout the day!

We would also like to thank Hopeman Golf Club for hosting the opening event of the season last month. It was a fantastic day, and all the juniors thoroughly enjoyed themselves while gaining valuable experience and having fun with friends from the other clubs.

The Forres Golf Sixes Squad are already looking forward to the next event, which takes place at Elgin Golf Club in a couple of weeks’ time.

Well done to all the members of the Forres team who put up a very good fight against really tough opposition.

Special Mentions:

Marc Dingwall – Well done to Marc who was the only player over the week from any team to win all 4 of his matches.

Ronnie Macdonald – Congratulations to Ronnie on his Hole-In-One at the 15th on the Old Course on Friday night. Only the 12th Hole-In-One in the history of the Moray & Nairn League in its current format and the first since 2015.

Grant Barclay, Euan Barker & Logan Chisholm – Special shout out for making their debuts, encouraging signs with young guys coming through and hopefully many more appearances to come.

Good luck to Forres, who will be hosting the event in 2027.
